To use desklamp you must agree to these terms & conditions. When you signed up you agreed to be bound by these terms & conditions and acknowledged that any violation of the terms outlined below may will result in the termination of your desklamp account.
The Service
Desklamp is a service operated by aTech Media Limited, a UK registered company (5523199).
Desklamp is a web-based management information system for service based organisations. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
General Terms
- You must be 13 years of age or over to use desklamp.
- You must be human. Accounts registered automatically by bots, scripts or otherwise will be terminated without notice.
- Your account information must be up-to-date at all times. This includes your e-mail address as well any other information gathered during the signup process.
- You are responsible for ensuring your login information is kept secure. aTech Media Limited will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred through a security lapse such as this.
- aTech Media Limited does not guarantee the service will meet your requirements, be available 100% of the time or be bug free.
- You understand and will not hold aTech Media Limited responsible for any loss or damage incurred to you or your business by using desklamp. This includes, but not limited to, loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses.
- Support is only provided to account holders and is only available by email at this time. Support requested by free account holders may be considered less important to that of paying customers.
- One legal entity may not maintain more than one (1) free account.
- We reserve the right to remove any information which we consider to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic or otherwise objectionable.
- We reserve the right to remove any information which violates the intellectual property of a third party.
- You may not use your account to send unsolicited e-mails or messages.
- Uploading of viruses to our service is forbidden and will result in the file being removed and possible account termination. However, we are sympathetic to users who upload an infected file by accident and will do our best to assist in these situations.
- The failure of aTech Media Limited to enforce any right or provision of these terms & conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The terms and conditions constitutes the entire agreement between you and aTech Media Limited and govern your use of desklamp, superseding any prior agreements between you and aTech Media Limited (including, but not limited to, any prior version of the terms and conditions).

Copyright Conditions
- The desklamp interface and system is copyright © aTech Media 2006-2007. All Rights Reserved.
- You may not copy or duplicate any part of the interface or use the CSS documents for use in another commercial application.
- All account information entered or uploaded into your account is owned by you and/or your company.
Pricing, Payment and Cancellation Terms
- aTech Media Limited reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Notice of this shall be provided on the desklamp website.
- All payment processing is handled by our payment processor, Worldpay Limited, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
- You are required to setup a Worldpay FuturePay agreement which allows us to take a the cost of your package from your account once a month. All FuturePay setup instructions are provided in our help centre and you will be automatically prompted to setup an agreement when you only have 5 free days remaining on your demo account.
- The service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds for partial months or service or upgrade/downgrade refunds. No exceptions can be made.
- All payments are subject to value added tax at 17.5%. This price is shown on all package tables.
- When upgrading or downgrades between packages, you will be charged the new amount from your next renewal date however the new limits will be applied immediately.
- When downgrading you will be unable to downgrade to a package where your existing data is greater than that allowed by the new package.
- You can cancel your account at any time through your Account Centre. This is the only acceptable way to cancel your account, we cannot accept cancellation requests by phone or e-mail.
- Once your account has been cancelled you will not be charged again and your Futurepay agreement will automatically be removed.
- We generate full VAT invoice automatically on the morning of your next renewal date. We will also attempt to debit your credit/debit card (via. Your Futurepay agreement). If payment fails, we will try again for 2 more days, however if we still are unable to take a payment your account will be suspended. You will be given the opportunity to setup a new agreement and pay your outstanding invoice manually through your account cente.
- Invoices can be downloaded and printed at any time through your desklamp account centre.
- All account upgrades/downgrades are logged for security purposes.
Refund Policy
We do not a offer refunds on any of our packages (unless it is our mistake). You pay for what you use, you can cancel, upgrade or downgrade at any time. In exceptional circumstances, refunds are given at the discretion of the management
Excessive Bandwidth Usage
- Each account is permitted to use 350Mb/month or the average usage for all accounts (as determined by aTech Media). If you exceed this, you will be notified by e-mail and you account may be suspended.
Hardware, Hosting & Networking
- aTech Media Limited own our own servers for hosting all desklamp services.
- We use a third party for collocation, networking and bandwidth provision.
- Our equipment is located in the Bluesquare Datacentre, Maidenhead, Berkshire.
